Your Safety

At Maker & Smith, we are committed to the safety and wellbeing of our staff, presenters, venue staff and anyone who participates in our programs. We abide by the public health recommendations of the day to protect workshop presenters and participants, as well as guests and ticket-holders at all our events.

We consciously choose venue partners and event spaces that can more than adequately adhere to public health requirements and recommendations. In particular good hygiene practices, physical distancing and frequent cleaning.

WHAT are the COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS at WORKSHOPS?

We will operate according to the Western Australian guidelines at the time. The classes will take place in a large, ventilated room to provide plenty of space for physical distancing, as well as manoeuvrability; masks and hand sanitiser will be on hand. We ask that you notify us and do not attend if you are ill and, if this is the case, we will negotiate fair and reasonable terms.

If COVID-19 impacts the presentation of a workshop, class or event, we will notify you of the changes, and will offer reasonable terms. If Maker & Smith has to cancel a ticketed event a full refund will be made and as much reasonable advance notice will be given as possible.
