Nathan Day Furniture comprises a team of young master craftsmen, dedicated to designing and producing exceptional contemporary furniture for the Australian residential and commercial markets.
Their purpose built workshop in Vasse, Western Australia, is central to Margaret River, Dunsborough and Yallingup and only 2.5 hours’ drive south of Perth.
“Our craftsmanship is guided by the ethos of the English arts and crafts traditions, where furniture was created with integrity by skilled craftsmen.”
Nathan trained in furniture making at the Edward Barnsley Workshop in England and was apprentice to a renowned West Australian craftsman.
“My approach to furniture design is very much about longevity. If a piece of furniture is thoughtfully designed, beautifully crafted and appropriately finished, it will be used and loved for generations.”
Nathan started his workshop in his parents’ garage in Yallingup in 2010. Since then he has designed custom furniture for companies like Apple, Louis Vuitton and Woods Bagot. With other key commissions coming from the ATO, The West Australian state government and Longitude 131 at Uluru.
