Grace Hummerston
Jeweller + Designer
Jeweller + Designer
As an innovative and established artist, Grace Hummerston participates regularly in exhibitions locally and nationally. Her practice aims to reduce the plastic waste in landfill by using manufacturing discards in her work.
Grace’s jewellery expands the boundaries of wearable art and body adornment through the experimentation of recycled materials and use of different art forms. She constructs alluring arrangements of hand-etched coloured perspex shapes, silver forms and painted surfaces of found plastic.
Through her bold use of colour and pattern, and the unique style of her decorative work, she provokes the wearer to appreciate the values of sustainable and ethical practices with her one-off statement pieces.
Grace welcomes commissions and delivers workshops. You can find her work online and at the following outlets ::
